Many thanks for all your medical donations over the past few months. I am pleased to inform you they have now arrived in Ukraine and have been distributed to hospitals. We are now in a position to send another container to our project in Romania to help with the current crisis. Our children’s home Casa Bridget in Eastern Romania, is only 2 hours drive from the Ukrainian border. Due to this proximity, we have been able to help in the following ways:

  1. Food supplies to the local refugee centres
  2. A weekly visit to the border, to distribute leaflets containing vital information such as “how to avoid being trafficked”. Our volunteers also hand out hot drinks and “welcome packs” which contain basic necessities.
  3. Casa Bridget is now a home for up to 12 Ukrainian refugees at any given time. There is a constant turnover of refugees as some use it as a sanctuary, and resting place before moving on. Others stay in the hope that they may be able to return to their home country one day.

Therefore, the demands placed upon us at Casa Bridget have increased enormously and we are now in need of additional supplies. Below are two lists, the first for supplies for the refugees, and the second for the Ukrainian army.
