For years, we distributed aid to families in need, but we soon realized that true change comes from breaking the cycle of poverty—not just easing its effects. Education is the key to a better future, which is why, in 2007, together with our Italian friends Noiperloro, we built a Day Centre on the grounds of Casa Bridget. This project provides 40 vulnerable children with daily schooling, hot meals, clean clothes, and essential washing facilities.

Many of these children live in extreme poverty, facing hunger, neglect, and the constant risk of abandonment. Without intervention, their future would be uncertain, their potential left untapped. At the Day Centre, we do more than just educate—we nurture, support, and empower. Our psychologist helps the children cope with the challenges they face at home, while our dedicated team ensures they receive not just academic lessons, but also vital life skills, including hygiene and nutrition.

The impact of this project is life-changing. Children who once had no access to education are now thriving, gaining confidence, and building dreams for the future. With your support, we can continue to offer these young lives a chance at something every child deserves—a future filled with hope, opportunity, and dignity.
