Beyond the walls of Casa Bridget, there is an ongoing need to support families facing extreme poverty. In many of the surrounding villages, families live in conditions that are unimaginable to most—single-room homes made from clay and straw, without basic amenities like running water or electricity. These families often struggle to feed their children and lack access to healthcare or education. We are dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing essential support to these families, helping them build a better future.

Our foundation regularly distributes food, clothing, and toys collected from generous donors in Ireland, offering relief to families in need. During the harsh winter months, we ensure that families have enough firewood to keep warm. For those facing medical challenges, we cover the cost of treatments, surgeries, and medications, ensuring that no family has to choose between health and survival.

In addition to meeting immediate needs, we are committed to helping families build independence. We have provided transportation for teenagers to attend high school in the nearby town, offering them the chance for a brighter future. We have built 18 homes for young families who were previously homeless or living in overcrowded conditions, helping them establish a stable foundation. Our support extends to local schools, providing much-needed resources such as desks, chairs, and textbooks. Through these efforts, we are not just alleviating immediate hardship—we are creating opportunities for long-term change, empowering individuals and families to rise out of poverty and build better lives.
