Christmas has arrived early at our Romanian Project where our charity aid lorries have arrived. Packed with over 5000 shoe boxes with gifts donated from all over Louth this means that alot of children will be sure to get a Christmas present. As our Day Centre family has grown, it has become impossible to celebrate everyone's Birthday individually. Therefore we have decided to have a party every month to celebrate ALL the Birthday's for that month! We are five months in to our project to prevent school abandonment and we are really pleased with the progress we've made. We are working with 14 children who are currently in their final year at the village school. At the end of the school year they will take national exams in Romanian and Maths

Today some of our talented Day Centre children attended an exhibition of their work at the library in our nearest town, Tecuci. Here at Casa Bridget, we use Valentine's Day as yet another excuse for a party and a celebration of our love for our residents! We had different races, competitions and games all modified depending on different capabilities, followed by music and dancing. We enjoyed eating sweets and home-made, heart-shaped cakes.
