Casa Bridget is more than just a home—it’s a place of warmth and care, for 16 adults with special needs in the village of Nicoresti, Romania. Most of our residents come from state orphanages, where they endured years of neglect and hardship. Thanks to the dedication of our team, they are thriving in a loving and supportive environment where they receive the attention and care they deserve.
With the help of our social assistants, physiotherapist, and nurse, we ensure that each resident has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Casa Bridget is designed to be a true home, not an institution, with spaces like our sensory room and large playroom providing comfort and engagement, especially during the harsh Romanian winters. Beyond the essentials, we focus on enriching lives through music sessions, arts and crafts, and regular outings, helping our residents build confidence, independence, and joy.
